Old Milltown Close to Reopening

Posted by tracy cobbin

Old Milltown has been closed for many, many months, but the downtown sidewalk outside of Old Milltown is about to reopen. The sidewalk was closed in August 2007 so work on Old Milltown could be finished. Poor weather has kept crews from finishing off the sidewalks at the corner of Fifth Avenue South and Dayton Street, but at the next sunbreak, the sidewalk will be finished, and the sidewalk will be reopened, officials said. The construction company has paid $1,628.31 a month for the closure.

We certainly hope at least the sidewalk in front of Old Milltown location will open. We’re ready for it to happen!
